Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Govindghat/Pulna → Ghangaria

    The main trekking day, roughly 9–13 km up the Pushpawati valley to the basecamp village.

  2. Day 2

    Ghangaria → Valley of Flowers → Ghangaria

    A full, slow-paced day inside the national park — an 8 km round trip through the bloom.

  3. Day 3

    Ghangaria → Hemkund Sahib → Ghangaria

    A steep 12 km round trip to the glacial lake and gurudwara at 4,329m, weather permitting.

  4. Day 4

    Ghangaria → Govindghat/Pulna

    Return descent to the roadhead.

  5. Day 5

    Buffer day

    Held in reserve for weather at Hemkund or delayed road access.

  6. Day 6

    Departure

    Onward drive from Govindghat / Joshimath.
